Americans are a diverse culture. However, unless you are legitimate native American, you, dear, are an immigrant. Fact.
2016 is a year in which the most hideous, wrenching, wretched underbelly of this compassionless subculture of, so-called, Americans has emerged from the depths of the self-imposed, hell in which they live.
They are self-centered, measurably gullible, pained, frightened, followers who glom onto their convenient, selfish, “truths”. The reject, deny, and ignore the ever-emerging blemishes of their guy, because they've consumed the potion.
This year, the proverbial hood has been brutally ripped off America’s skin like body waxing strips--- And this mob sheds not one tear. Nor do they grimace. They do, however, scowl, indict, blame, scapegoat, threaten, intimidate, and kill those healthy enough to see behind the curtain.
The puppet-masters have embraced this zeitgeist, and co-opted it to serve their own seething, evil purposes with compunction. Just as the white ruling class set white indentured servants (slaves) into deliberate conflict with their--- only slightly lower--- black counterparts. It worked. Like a charm. Divide and conquer achieved. It's still working today. Poor blacks, and poor whites STILL don't get that if we truly worked together, and stopped being nose-dragged by those in power--- we'd all be better off.
Today we see a Wizard behind the curtain. An emperor with no clothes, because they are being manufactured in other countries. He spews the poisonous punch, reminiscent of Jonestown’s Jim Jones, preying on their witless willingness to believe that which only they believe. Yet, fail to see their role as lemmings, sheep, and pawns. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see. This election season may grant their wish.
They will bang their drums. Chant their mantras, drink that punch, but what happens then. What happens when the curtain is pulled back in full. Stage-lights, the ghost light, and spotlight all focused on the undeniable hoax they embraced? Remember that disappointment when you unwrapped that fast-food restaurant’s item you saw in the commercial? All juicy, overflowing, glistening. Only when you opened it to celebrate the “get”, it was nothing, at all, like what was promised by Madison Avenue.
Poor America. She bleeds to death from inconceivable death blows leveled upon her by those she suckled. Whom she welcomed. For whom she provided. And her, ungrateful, children throw tantrums while she dies. America? We have failed you. We will recover. We will eventually revive you, and your vision of a more perfect union.
The “New Colossus” plaque installed at the Statue of Liberty reads:
“Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
- Emma Lazarus
The “tempest-tost”, now tempest lost, seem to have forgotten the invitation which, so readily, in many cases, drew their immigrant ancestors to America’s bosom. The entire providence which gives them life today.
A "majority" once elected Adolph Hitler. We all know how that worked out. And, for the record, as nearly as I can ascertain: slavery, Jim Crow, Seperate-but-Equal, Plessy -vs- Ferguson... none of that was better than today for blacks. We remain hunted, and ignored with impunity, but we are better than we've "ever, ever, ever" been. Thank you very much.
Wake up, America! There are only two types of regret: The kind when you wish you had done a thing. Or the kind when you wish you hadn’t. It solely depends upon which regret you can handle best.
In my resilient, country-loving, ever-hopeful, soul--- I shall continue to believe in the good. I believe in “The Dream”, and rebirth of our better nature.
So, while the union remains imperfect, I am confident we shall one day be. Hence, I will govern myself accordingly, and responsibly. I’m not with “him”. I’m not with “her”. I’m with America. Are you?
